Often only found as a blending grape, Petit Verdot really deserves its own starring role, so here it is in a 100% single-variety, single vineyard wine. Aromas of violet and lilac lead to an intensely bold wine, with purple and dark blue fruit tones (plums, blackberries, blueberries, dark sour cherry) and velvety tannins to continue to age beautifully. Another winner with steak, but also lovely with some dark chocolate after dinner. Only 2 barrels made.
