Our first non-vintage wine and largest production to date, featuring 2021, 2022, and 2023 Malbec (78%), along with 2021 Aglianico (19%) and 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon (3%) – all but the Cab hail from the SIP-certified (Sustainability in Practice) Al Pie del Cielo Vineyard (“At the foot of the Heavens”) – at the very top of a 1,500’ high limestone ridge that rises out of the east Paso Robles landscape in the Creston District. A gorgeous hue of inky purple haze; its aromas evoke visions of rich leather booths in a classic steakhouse; in the mouth, plums, cherries, French vanilla, and cloves, with a smooth easy-drinking finish featuring balanced tannins. Pairs well with BBQ ribs, steak, Humboldt Fog cheese, reading 90s fantasy novels by candlelight, and Tuesdays.
