100% Arinto (a Portuguese Grape), which is unfortunately not a recognized grape variety by the U.S. government, so we had to give it another name – “Felicidade” means happiness, bliss, and joy in Portuguese, and is the perfect description of this light and bright wine from Pierce Ranch Vineyard in the San Antonio Valley of southern Monterey County. The color is like early spring sunlight; sun-warmed lemons, pears, honeysuckle, and pineapple on the nose; orange zest, watermelon rind, and a bright lemon bar in the mouth: finishing with a lingering tangy and creamy acidity. Perfect with pools, patios, fresh crab, thai curry, and gardening.
