This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a tiny 1-acre plot at the Johnson Family Vineyard just won GOLD at the Central Coast Wine Competition! Aged for 34 months in neutral French Oak to allow its bountiful tannins to soften and integrate into the structure of the wine. Beautiful deep dark ruby red color, notes of cocoa, petrichor, rose petals, light tobacco, and warm winter spices on the nose, with a savory mix of Bing cherry, cranberry, fig, walnut, cardamon, cedar and vanilla in the mouth, leading to a forever finish thanks to the firm but well-integrated tannins. Pairs beautifully with steak, oxtail stew, ratatouille, and mushrooms, or just enjoy savoring it by itself in front of the fire. 4 Barrels Made.
