A worthy sequel to the 2015 vintage! The father vine of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Carmenere. This grape is often relegated to blending duty, and while sometimes the children do become more famous than the parents, that doesn’t make the parent a lesser grape! 100% Cabernet Franc, wonderfully complex, balanced fruit, tannins and acidity, along with that herbaceous funk. Wonderful with steak, but also great with rich tomato-based pasta dishes. Just 2 barrels made.
