I've been in love with Cab Franc for a long time and I'm proud to release a worthy sequel to the 2015 vintage - this one is 100% Cabernet Franc. The wine is full-bodied, complex and intense, with notes of brambly red and black fruit, tobacco, and leather, along with good acidity, and just a hint of that herbaceous funk (more cayenne pepper than green pepper) that Cab Franc (Frunk?) is famous for. Wonderful with steak, but also great with rich tomato-based pasta dishes. Just 2 barrels made.
