My very first Cabernet Franc! 90% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot, now in its 6th year of aging. The wine is full-bodied, complex and intense, with notes of brambly red and black fruit, tobacco, and leather, along with good acidity, and just a hint of that herbaceous funk (more cayenne pepper than green pepper) that Cab Franc (Frunk?) is famous for. Just 1 barrel made.
