Although our philosophy is to create new blends with unique names each year, due to popular demand we have brought back the hair-colored theme for a second time. It's hard to believe this name was originally used for the 2013 vintage. In addition to the name, we have used the same varietals as the original blend. However, the percentages of each varietal are different than the first. Because we believe we are students of an art we can never perfect and seek to improve with each harvest, we ask you to have faith that this vintage is even better than the original! We hope wine lovers of all hair colors will enjoy this fun blend.

3 Steves Rosé is back!! After a few year hiatus, we couldn’t be more excited to bring this fan favorite wine back to our program. A saignee of Cabernet Sauvignon like years past, this 2021 rosé saw a little less skin time as than its predecessors as well as a touch of Chardonnay post fermentation. Lighter in color but still bursting with bright fruit and racy acidity. The ultimate summer-time sipper perfect for the pool, beach, backyard, or anywhere you can relax and enjoy - so kick your feet up, crack this bottle open and enjoy the fruits of our labor. Cheers
This is a unique dessert wine made from Chardonnay rather than red grape varietals. After fermenting, and aging, this wine is blended with prior year vintages. This results in a delicious and complex wine that works with much more than just dessert. In addition to delicious pairings with sweets and cheeses after a nice meal, please don’t overlook the opportunity to pair this with an elegant salad topped with blue cheese, apples, and nuts. It also works well with warm savory dishes such as butternut squash soup or seafood bisque, which tastes even better after drizzling a bit of this tasty wine into the pot during cooking.
This is an elegant dessert wine made from multiple varietals of grapes from our vineyard and many of the other vineyards where we source our fruit. The wines are fermented and barrel-aged separately each year, then blended with prior year vintages. Only a small portion of the wine is released each year, allowing the wine to age and intensify. This approach gives this wine beautiful color with a huge, fruity nose and luscious taste. Unlike some dessert wines, this is extremely well-balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness and mouth feel that doesn’t overpower the taste of the wine itself. Good on its own or after a fine meal, and even better when shared with friends over a friendly conversation.
During the first years of 3 Steves, only one Chardonnay was produced. It did not take long for the demand for a more oak-driven Chardonnay to finally be realized and soon with it, the total allocation of all fruit to the new “Reserve” label. In 2021, the winemaking team decided it was time to revisit our roots and bring back a second Chardonnay. Donning the original “Small-Lot” label, this 100% Chardonnay is the product of new vineyard sourcing, barrel programs, and fermentation trials, all meant as educational tools for future vintages, but resulted in a wine we could not help but release as a standalone wine.
Steves B.’s favorite of all varietals, this is our signature Cabernet Franc made with fruit we get each year from our great friends the DeRose family in Cienega Valley. This vintage ripened to perfection culminating into a soft, lush, fruit-driven new world wine.

As television sports commentators for the Washington Capitals in the National Hockey League, Joe Beninati (Joe B.) and Craig Laughlin (Locker) have been a full-time combo since 1996. In the 25 years that have followed, we have described incredible on-ice memories and developed many friendships with an amazing Capitals family.
With loving support from Caps fans, now would be the perfect time to share our first wine to help raise awareness for the fight against rare cancers. This wine collaboration is inspired by and designed to benefit The Laughlin Family Foundation, which firmly believes "Every Cancer Deserved a Voice" and a portion of all sales will help us fight the fight. As voices of the Caps, we cannot thank you enough for acquiring this bottle to be a part of your collection. With your help, our teamwork continues to grow. Whether you choose to enjoy this wine now or allow it to age gracefully, we hope that you will find that our 25 years as an "odd couple" can make for a wonderful Broadcast Blend.
This is a bold, complex, fruit-driven Merlot with fruit from Thatcher Bay vineyard in Livermore. Merlot is one of the best growing varietals in our appellation, and this vineyard is the Steves' favorite for this grape.
Steves B.’s favorite of all varietals, this is our signature Cabernet Franc made with fruit we get each year from our great friends the DeRose family in Cienega Valley. The fruit ripens to perfection each year, allowing us to make a classic, full bodied, California new world style wine.
One of our Chilean wines, this varietal was originally planted in Chileand thought to be Merlot. Fortunately it was Carmenere which put Chilean wine on the map. Carmenere is known for its bold mouthfeel, rich color, and intense fruit.
This is one of only a few white wines that we hold specifically for wine club releases. It separates itself from other Chardonnays because it is not filtered which allows all of the great flavors and mouthfeel to remain in the wine that otherwise are stripped by the filtration process.
This fruit comes from the vineyard of our close friends, the DeRose family in Cienega Valley. This wine will not disappoint, with its unique boldness, deep red fruit, and just the right amount of spice we have come to enjoy in this wine.
This is the second time putting three different Zinfandel wines together but the proportions are very different from the prior blend. This wine is made from 38% Livermore Valley Del Arroyo Zinfandel, 38% Dry Creek Zinfandel, and 24% ENZ Vineyard Zinfandel from Cienega Valley.
