Mayacamas wines showcase the unique mountain environment where we grow our grapes—firm tannins and fresh acidity reflect our cool, high elevation vineyard sites. This wine—firm but fleshy—shows blackberry, black plum, incense and mocha, with a long and complex finish.
60% Cabernet Franc, 30% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon

Mayacamas Vineyards is a wine estate located in the Mayacamas mountains high above the Napa Valley. Near the top of Mount Veeder, the old stone winery (built in 1889) is perched on the edge of a dormant volcano crater. The steep rocky slopes of our vineyards yield small crops of tiny, highly flavored grapes. In our winery, we employ traditional winemaking techniques to produce classically-styled wines of great character and ageability.
