White Squirrel Winery
Upper North West Tennessee is home to White Squirrel Winery. White Squirrel is located among 12,000 French Hybrid, Viniferous and American Grape vines, Peaches, Blackberries and Blueberries. The deep soil, rolling hills and the Mississippi River influenced microclimate has made Obion County the top corn, soybean and hybrid grape-producing county in the State. Robust dry red wines, fruity whites and crisp off-dry wines are quickly making White Squirrel Winery a favorite among Tennessee wine drinkers. “It is my hope, folks will realize, Tennessee can grow some of the best, fruity, flavorful grapes in the county and our wine will is absolutely delicious. California is not the only place where good wine is made,” says Bill Sanderson, owner of White Squirrel Winery.
