Bourbon Barrel aged dry red Cabernet Sauvignon. This dry red was aged for 6 months in 12 year old Elijah Craig Bourbon barrels which lends its toasted caramel and rich vanilla aromas. Gene and I absolutely love Bourbon barrel aged beers and wines, so we decided to make one of our own, name it after the rapid on the Pigeon River which survived hurricane Helene, and slapped a killer picture of our Uncle Steve on the front label.
