Barrel aged 8 months in oak (15% new French oak). Subtle oak influence on the nose with lots of apricot, yellow peach, and baking spice (clove, allspice). On the palate, bright notes of lemon zest is tempered by dried apricot, papaya, and apple. Sweet vanilla and light toast from the French oak. Medium/full bodied. Clove and vanilla on the finish. Pair fresh halibut, butternut squash soup, or homemade baclava.
