Inspired by the historic strongman in the 1700s, Peter Francisco, who later came to be known as The Virginia Giant. One story of his includes him fighting during the revolutionary war where he carried a 1,100 pound cannon barrel to be saved for later battles. Overall, this dry medium bodied red blend contains sangiovese, cabernet sauvignon, and merlot. This wine has aromatics of fresh raspberries with subtle hints of vanilla and earth. There emerges a concentrated finish of blackberries and black pepper with firm tannins.
