Itasca is the latest cold hardy hybrid released from the Univ. Minnesota grape breeding program. Vines commercially available in 2016, we planted 2 acres in 2018; 2nd harvest in 2022,12.7% ABV, dry white style.

WillowsAwake Winery is located in the rural town of Leeds, Maine on a 67 acre parcel. Wines are produced from the estates 8 acre vineyard of cold hardy hybrid grapes. Additional wines are produced from locally sourced grapes and juices. Tastings are available year round, in the summer from our tasting room and in the off season at our on-site full service restaurant, No. 10 Eatery @ WillowsAwake.
