To produce excellent wines and spirits from local Maine products and to have fun doing it is our goal. We've been doing that for the past 10 years at Tree Spirits, although Bruce has been making wine for the past 20 years. Six months after opening in 2010, our sparkling Apple extra dry wine won a Double Gold medal and our sparkling Maple demi-sec won a Silver at the San Francisco International Wine Competition. We've expanded our product line to include apple, pear, and maple table wines and sparkling wines. We also created a maple port-like 40 proof combination of our 80 proof maple spirits and our maple wine, which we call Maple Storm. We offer two brandy-based fruit drinks -- Pear and Pomegranate -- that can be used to make sangria, cocktails, or just drunk alone.
