Arneis has its origins in the Piedmont region of Italy, it has proven to do well in Chester County. A winter hardy grape, boasting notes of apricot and almond. This varietal is seeing a rise in producers, as it neared extinction in the 60s. it is thanks to Alfredo Currado, a member of the well regarded Vietti wine family, that we still see It being grown and produced in regions other than Italy.
