The land around Lexington, Nebraska, presents unique challenges in the vineyard; it also produces unique benefits. We can't grow the wine grapes you're probably most familiar with: Chardonnay, Merlot, and others just won't grow well in our climate. That's not a problem though; we've always believed that it make more sense to work with nature than against it. Because we grow grapes that have been bred to be productive in our extreme temperatures and short growing season, we're able to produce wines and flavors that you just won't find anywhere else.
