5 years in the making, our first Port Style wine is here!! Lucas Aurelius, meaning gilded light, is the name given by the son of our winemaker to his parents before he came to be with us on this Earth plane. He is a bright, strong young man who is kind and loving with an abundance of energy! This first release of the wine named in his honor is a blend of mostly Mourvèdre and Petite Sirah with little bits of other estate grown varietals mixed in throughout the years. Enjoy this robust, yet smooth wine with friends or family...or both!! Cheers to Lucas Aurelius!! This Port-style blend of Mourvèdre and Petite Sirah would go excellently with cigars. Aromas of tobacco and dried red fruit lead from the nose into a woody palate of cigar box, berry jam and heavy baking spice - Wine Enthusiast

Following an Embly generational tradition of family farming for over a century, Hungry Hawk Vineyards is a family owned and operated boutique winery established in 2009 with the installation of our first vineyard block of Bordeaux varietals. We have since expanded to fifteen different varietals which are grown on our 10 acre property while practicing minimalist and sustainable farming.

Our Winery boasts gorgeous views of the vineyard and San Pasqual Valley from its patio. Our limited production of thoughtfully crafted estate wine brings a personal touch to each poured glass. You are sure to find a wine that you will enjoy!
