This 100% Pinot Noir was created using the saignée method. Roughly 30% of the juice from crush was diverted to create a delicious Rose wine, leaving behind a higher percentage of skins for the red fermentation. This resulted in a red wine with more robust flavor and color imparted by the additional solid material.
Smooth and silky, this medium-body Pinot had early notes of black cherry, blueberry & currant which have evolved into wet stone, forest floor, tobacco and dried cranberry.
