This 100% Pinot Noir was created using the saignée method. Roughly 30% of the juice from crush was diverted to create a delicious Rose wine, leaving behind a higher percentage of skins for the red fermentation. This resulted in a red wine with more robust flavor and color imparted by the additional solid material.
Smooth and silky, this medium-body Pinot had early notes of black cherry, blueberry & currant which have evolved into wet stone, forest floor, tobacco and dried cranberry.

We are the oldest winery in Vancouver, WA. We grow all our grapes on a gravelly ridge at the mouth of the Columbia Gorge on land we have farmed since 1903. We grow, vint and bottle entirely from our own estate fruit. We currently produce Pinot Noir, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc.
