Located in the heart of the Leelanau Peninsula in north western lower Michigan, château Fontaine was opened in 1999. Family owned and operated, we are known for our French style award-winning wines. The property is situated on an 1880’s French Homesteaded farm. The rolling hills and it’s proximity to nearby Lake Michigan offer some of the best Vineyard sites in the area. We produce both red and white wines, from dry to sweet.
