NSA (No Sulfite Added) Wine Series
All NSA Wines are from the 2020 vintage and have been barrel-aged for 10 months in French Oak and bottled aged for 8 months.
WHAT ARE SULFITES?
Sulfites are compounds naturally present in many fruits, including grapes, and are also a by-product of fermentation. Sulfites are a natural preservative found in nature - including present in your body.
WHAT’S DIFFERENT ABOUT THESE WINES?
NSA Wines will be fruitier and smoother than their counterparts. Try our NSA sampling to see the difference.
Our first vintage of Barbera wine. A common variety found in Italy with notes of bright red fruit, black pepper, anise and a mild smokiness. Lively acidity, but smooth mouth-feel and tannin.
Since 1999 Carlos Creek Winery has been making award winning wines using Minnesota, California & New York grapes! All wines are fully produced in Alexandria, MN using sustainable practices in wine making and in grape growing. Our wine makers specialize in making truly balanced wines in all different styles: dry, sweet, red, white, blush and dessert wines, with our main focus in using local, Minnesota fruit.
