79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet franc, 10% Petit Verdot
The grapes were handpicked in March 2017 at optimum ripeness. The wine kept in barrels for 16 months, matured separately in French oak barrels. 20% of the wine in 1st fill barrels, 50% in 2nd fill, and 30% in 3rd fills. The bottling date is February 2019.
A beautiful deep dark color. Complex nose with different layers of fruits, plummy
characters, cassis, hints of cigar box, and dark chocolate. Good bold structure, tight ripe tannins, good balance of wood, acid, and fruit giving this wine a long lingering finish. Best Enjoyed with juicy lamb or steak.
