You can say Randy and Debbie Paul were “inspired” to take their favorite hobby and make something they could share with friends and the public. Stone Villa Wine Cellars opened to the public in August of 2000, and is located on a 150 acre site in the foothills of the Laurel Highlands of southwestern Pennsylvania. Aesthetics are important to us at Stone Villa Wine Cellars. All of the masonry work was done by Randy’s father Jimmy Paul. Family means so much to us, that we traced back into our heritage to develop the name Stone Villa. Randy’s grandparents were wine makers and stone masons.
Stone Villa features over 12 varieties of grapes and over 25 varieties of wines. With the new facilities, production is expected to be around 15,000 gallons a year, but can handle 20,000 gallons or 10,000 cases of wine. During the summer months, we offer weekend entertainment to our patrons. You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and purchase a bottle of wine and sit outside and enjoy the beautiful scenery and entertainment.
