Mount Hope Estate and Winery

Brand for Mount Hope Estate and Winery
In 2015, Mount Hope Winery’s wine production returned to Lancaster County for the first time since 1980, when Mount Hope Winery acquired the assets of an area winery.

In late 2016, Mount Hope began repurposing an existing barn located approximately 300 feet from the current Wine Shop and parallel to the Swashbuckler Brewery into a new winery. The barn was originally built in the 1800’s and rebuilt in 1908 after a fire. Construction completion is scheduled for early summer 2018. The ground floor of the new winery provides 9250 square feet of workable space. The new winery’s equipment includes total capacity of 40,000 gallons.

Today, Mount Hope Estate & Winery welcomes over 250,000 guests annually to its entertainment events and is honored to have been selected as a Best of the Best by the American Bus Association.
