Marquette is an excellent disease resistant, cold hardy red wine grape. The Marquette grapes high sugar and moderate acidity make it very manageable in the winery. Finished wines are complex, with attractive ruby color and pronounced tannins. You will find desirable notes of cherry, berry, black pepper, and spice on both the nose and palate.
