Frontenac is a medium body red wine with strong notes of cherry and hints of plum and chocolate. It's crisp, yet earthy, and pairs well with hearty meals such as beef stroganoff or with robust cheeses like Gorgonzola, Bleu or Sharp Cheddar. Developed by the University of Minnesota and introduced in 1996, this grape variety has become a cold climate mainstay.
