This blend of Frontenac, Marechal Foch, St. Croix, Marquette and Geneva Red 7 Iowa grapes produced a dry red wine, but not too dry. Soft and complex aromas of dried currant, black pepper, fig, black cherry, and black raspberry. Mild, well-integrated oak with notes of toasted bread and toasted marshmallow. A complex wine with a smooth finish. Compares to Cabernet.
How we chose the name: Some people think certain things or happenings are a sign, a sign from God. Things that seem meant to be or validation of a decision. For us, dimes have a way of showing up in the oddest places. Or the number ten. A reassuring sign - a reminder - that we're not alone.
