Batch 1 was aged in the tanks with a Big Roast Blend of American Oak charred in varying degrees to add a complexity with a bit of tobacco keeping the Norton’s well-known earthy notes.
Norton is typically a Missouri grown grape. We fell in love with it when in Herman, MO. We had to have it for our line!
We produce Iowa Wines with fruit that comes mainly for our own vineyards. We took some classes at a local community college and fell in love with making wine. We now produce dry, semi sweet and sweet wines made from local grapes and fruits.
