Max's 63 is a whammy of a jammy red. The grape varieties involved to make this wine include Mourvedre, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Barbera, Chambourcin, Frontenac and Seyval Blanc and are blend from 2020 and 2021 grapes as well as 2017 Seyval Blanc
This wine is intense, smooth, has great tannins, lots and lots of fruity cherry notes. Lots of fruity and cherry notes. The wine feels like there is a little bit of residual sugar and there is, but the wine finishes dry. Just fills each and every taste bud.
As normal, no fining agents, no added tannins, none of that!

Turtle Run Winery is located in the southern part of the Indiana Uplands American Viticulture Area and is known for making expressive wines following the European traditions of barrel fermentations, barrel aging, no oak products added, long, extended skin contact for dry reds, so no tannin addition, arrested fermentation sweet wines so no sugar or juice added. Yes, real wine. And yes, our flavors vary from vintage to vintage. We've won lots of wine competitions with "best in class" wines...coast to coast.
