Fresh and concentrated fruit notes are complemented by dark chocolate and caramel notes. The use of a higher percentage of new oak barrels adds to the textural elements without overpowering. This robust red is a perfect wine for a braised beef or seared duck dish as its richness would be a perfect compliment to the equally rich dish.
VARIETAL COMPOSITION: 45.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25.5% Merlot, 16.5% Petit Verdot, 9% Malbec, 3.5% Cabernet Franc
