Once again the beautiful aromas of the Musque clone of Sauvignon Blanc leap from the glass. Generous and persistent stone fruit and tropical notes on the nose lead to peaches and nectarine on the palate. The acidity is balanced and medium to high. This is a rich, high-octane Sauvignon Blanc made from classy fruit that has some serious weight on your palate. A small percentage was fermented in neutral barrels as well as a concrete egg to add depth. The wine has a long finish with bursts of acidity and lemon zest. It is perfect for salads or grilled fish.

The 2014 Napa Valley Cabernet is dark in color, almost a deep black purple. On the nose it is loaded with black currant and cassis. The palate is rich, full bodied and has a touch more tannin than the 2012 and 2013. Black currant, plums and cassis fruit are intertwined with a touch a vanilla from the 25% new French oak we used. A touch of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, about 4% of each add to the complexity. It has a long and lingering finish that lasts about a minute. A perfect match for bold rich dishes and your favorite cut of prime beef.
