5 years in the making, our first Port Style wine is here!! Lucas Aurelius, meaning gilded light, is the name given by the son of our winemaker to his parents before he came to be with us on this Earth plane. He is a bright, strong young man who is kind and loving with an abundance of energy! This first release of the wine named in his honor is a blend of mostly Mourvèdre and Petite Sirah with little bits of other estate grown varietals mixed in throughout the years. Enjoy this robust, yet smooth wine with friends or family...or both!! Cheers to Lucas Aurelius!! This Port-style blend of Mourvèdre and Petite Sirah would go excellently with cigars. Aromas of tobacco and dried red fruit lead from the nose into a woody palate of cigar box, berry jam and heavy baking spice - Wine Enthusiast
