Aromas of Asian pear, white peach, papaya, grapefruit, honeysuckle and lemon verbena lead to juicy and vibrant flavors of pear and grape skins, peach stone and gravelly minerals. The finish picks up pear and peach liqueurs and hints of papaya and grapefruit peels, followed by a crisp finish. Sunbreak complements salads, fish, chicken, mild cheeses and sunbathing on the patio.

Our Rosé shows a light copper-pink color and enticing aromas of strawberry, Rainier cherry, watermelon and tangerine, with scents of cherry blossoms, pink roses, pink lilac and incense. The flavors are fresh and vivid, with notes of light grape skin, cherry stones, melon rind and alluvial minerals. The back picks up fraise and kirsch liqueurs and recurring tangerine peel, followed by a juicy, dry finish. Pair with brie and crackers, summer salads, grilled salmon with dill, grilled chicken and grilled veggies. The blend is 53% Pinot Gris, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Tempranillo, 8% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot and 5% Malbec.

The flavors mirror the aromatics with generous yet focused dark fruits that are intermixed with licorice, bittersweet chocolate, roasted coffee beans and dusty earth. The flavors mirror the aromatics with generous yet focused dark fruits that are intermixed with licorice, bittersweet chocolate, roasted coffee beans and dusty earth. On the back, the wine gains depth (from the Syrah) with pressed fruits, roasted nuts, framboise, and cassis liqueurs, mocha and pencil shavings, followed by a sweet-dry moderate tannin finish. This shows plenty of flavor from front to back. Pair with lamb, goat cheese, smoked baby back ribs, sauteed mushrooms or a juicy burger.

The long and dry finish has medium plus tannins, making this a cellar-worthy wine for years to come. Aged for 19 months in a single new Boutes Grand Reserve French oak barrel. Only 23 cases produced.

The finish is juicy and long with medium tannins. Aged for 10 months in 67% neutral and 33% new Francois Freres French oak barrels.
